After 2 Months of speculation Ethiopian government has officially announced the death of Prime Minister Meles Zenawi on Tuesday morning.

According to State run television Mr. Meles Zenawi has died at the age of 57 on Monday mid night in a hospital abroad.
PM Meles ruled the country since 1991.

According to government statement from the minister of council, deputy prime minister and foreign minister Mr. Hailemariam Desalegn will be an interim leader of the country until the parliament elect a new prime minister.
