The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has escalated its legal battle with Rwanda, filing a fresh case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The move adds to cases already before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR) and the East African Court of Justice (EACJ), underscoring Kinshasa’s strategy of using international courts to challenge Kigali over the conflict in eastern DRC.
