Ethiopia is at war again. Seven groups have banded together to try to oust Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and his government in Addis Ababa.
Rebel and opposition groups, including a faction of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), which fought the bloody 2020-2022 war and was ultimately defeated, have launched attacks overrunning strategic towns like Erebti in Afar and moving through Amhara, threatening transport corridors linking the landlocked country to the sea.
