November 6 it is: Tundu Lissu’s date with the High Court panel

November 6, 2026. That is the date that three judges of the High Court at Dar es Salaam have decided to inscribe into Tanzanian history. The judges on which this mighty onus rests are Judge Dunstan Ndunguru, Judge James Karayemaha and Judge Ferdinand Kiwonde.

After the final submissions of both sides, the judges are now expected to go over all the main issues of the case, the third edition of such a case in Tanzania, and deliver their verdict on whether the accused is guilty or innocent of the offence of treason.
