Kenya's Ministry of health on Wednesday confirmed 254 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 5,206.

Chief Administrative Secretary for Health Mercy Mwangangi said the latest cases were detected from over 4,000 samples which were tested in the last 24 hours.

Some 41 people recovered and have been discharged from hospital, while two more people died bring the total to 130 deaths.
