At a time when the world is undergoing unprecedented geopolitical reconfigurations, Kenya’s foreign policy confronts strategic options: Adhere to non-alignment, project adaptable and assertive leadership, or become transactional rather than value-driven.

While remaining a flexible and rational actor, Kenya is not geopolitically naive; we are fully aware of the increasingly transactional conduct of global actors.
