Former Senegalese President Macky Sall used a public dialogue session to promise a working relationship with the African Union (AU), despite the bloc’s refusal to endorse his candidacy.
Appearing before members of the United Nations General Assembly, Sall said he would treat all UN members equally while prioritising coordination with regional blocs to address emerging local issues.
