Sudan war stalemate fuels atrocities amid global apathy

Sudan’s warring parties may have entered a stalemate but the humanitarian catastrophe from the conflict is ballooning every day, raising questions about justice, accountability, and the international community’s role in perpetuating violence.

A report by the UN Human Rights Council revealed that both the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have committed war atrocities.
