The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (Igad) gathered representatives from the African Union (AU), the United Nations (UN), the League of Arab States, the European Union (EU) and the Quad on Tuesday to discuss how to end overlapping roles in the Sudan peace process.
Igad Executive Secretary Workneh Gebeyehu said that, despite various attempts by partners in Africa and beyond, there has been no peace process in Sudan.
