In a rare occurrence, Rwanda has declared a four-day national public holiday, beginning on Tuesday, July 1, giving Rwandans a six-day break including the weekend through to Sunday, July 6.
July 1 is Rwanda's Independence Day, while July 4 will mark the 31st anniversary of Liberation Day.
