The African Union (AU) this week reawakened its peace bid on Sudan, turning to Uganda President Yoweri Museveni to help end the ongoing bloodbath. But that step may face familiar problems on a process that has faltered several times before.
The decision arose from the 1308th meeting of the AU Peace and Security Council (PSC), the 15-member organ charged with deciding immediate steps on peace and stability of the continent.
