When Bongo Flava star singer Rajab “Harmonize” Abdul left Diamond Platnumz-owned record label Wasafi in 2019, terminating his 10-year contract prematurely, he was forced to pay Tsh600 million ($221,712).
Harmonize was in the fourth year of the contract when he left Wasafi, terming the deal with the label as exploitative.
