He is known for not turning up for concerts at the last minute or, on a bad day, delivering a less-than-average performance for a star of his calibre, or sometimes hitting the stage very late, to the chagrin of his fans.
Having missed several radio and press interviews two days before the show, addressing only one press briefing, many had started anticipating that he would not show up for the concert.
