Joseph Mayanja alias Dr Jose Chameleone is considered one of the few musicians who have made a mark right across the region. Even as he brought the house down during the Rwanda Patriotic Front 25th anniversary celebrations, during which he confessed his love for Rwanda, Chameleone was full of praise for his big fan, President Paul Kagame.
In an exclusive interview with Rwanda Today, Chameleone said Rwanda is his second home rather than a market for his music. The Ugandan star has performed in Rwanda many times and, to him, it is more than just music.
