Are Africans really to blame for turning to churches, or is it failed leadership and untapped resources driving the search for miracles?

We have heard enough lamentations over too many churches and too few factories in sub-Saharan Africa. Clever people have heard all the clever voices ridiculing poverty-stricken Africans for spending days in church praying for miracles instead of working to generate income and build hospitals and schools.

We have castigated Born Again Christians for disturbing our sleep as they worship in makeshift churches in our once peaceful estates.
