The US-backed peace deal between the governments of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo has received global support, despite stakeholders cautioning against trickery or grandstanding.
On Wednesday, the UN Security Council welcomed the peace agreement, with members expressing their deep appreciation to the United States, Qatar, and the African Union for facilitating it.
