Mbeere North is one of the smallest parliamentary constituencies in Kenya, with just 55,124 people registering to vote in the last General Elections in 2022.

It is also relatively new in its current name, having been renamed from Siakago in the reorganisation of constituencies following the promulgation of the Constitution in 2010.
