South Sudan says it accepted deported nationals from other countries in a bid to soothe Washington’s ties with Juba.
Juba, last week, accepted eight people deported from the US, but only one of them was a South Sudanese national. The others are from of Myanmar, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos and Mexico, and were deported for committing crimes on US soil and for having improper papers to remain in the country.
