Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs minister Olivier Nduhungirehe has told lawmakers that the country would only withdraw its defensive measures once the threat posed by the FDLR militia along the Congolese border has been neutralised.
He made this statement in Parliament on Tuesday, before MPs approved the Washington agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
