Ogiek lose case seeking to block eviction from Mau

Kenya’s Ogiek community has failed in its bid through the courts to compel the government to allow them to establish homes within the Mau Forest.

The Environment and Land Court found that the orders sought were already the subject of previous petitions in which judgments had been rendered.
