The African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR) will hear a landmark case concerning the Ogiek community from Kenya’s Mau Forest on Wednesday, June 4.
The case, Application No. 006/2012, is aimed at monitoring the implementation of the 2017 ruling, which found severe violations of the Ogiek’s human rights by the Kenyan government.
