The deadly attack in Ituri province, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, by Ugandan Islamist group Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), in which at least 43 people were killed and dozens others abducted on Sunday, had been predicted.
The Congolese army (FARDC) said that the militia attacked a church in Komanda, a town in Irumu Territory, Ituri Province, and killed 19 women, 15 men and nine children.
