Bumper election season in East Africa with Kenya in the throes of early campaigns

East Africa will in June this year enter a bumper seven-month elections season, during which at least four countries in the region are expected to hold polls.

Somalia and Burundi are set to open the elections period with local and parliamentary polls scheduled by the two countries respectively.
