Ghanaian officials say they have cancelled South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s scheduled visit to Accra to avoid overshadowing the visit with xenophobic sentiments.
Accra refuted earlier claims that it had stopped the trip as a protest for anti-migrant protests in South Africa, which have targeted foreigners from other African countries.
