South Africa’s latest wave of xenophobic attacks, targeting African migrants and their businesses, is once again testing relations with its continental peers.
In the past 10 days, mobs armed with clubs, machetes and spears have attacked foreign nationals in the streets of Johannesburg and Cape Town, accusing them of taking opportunities meant for locals.
