The second Kampala Food Festival served national and international dishes, and exhibited the culinary skills of top chefs in Uganda.
During the one-day event held on October 6 at the Uganda Museum grounds in Kampala, visitors sampled and savoured the flavours of Uganda, from eshabwe (a creamy dressing) to malakwang (a tart vegetable and groundnut sauce), malewa (dried bamboo shoots), en’boli (sweet potato), luwombo (beef or chicken steamed in banana leaves), as well as cuisine from around the world.
