Emmanuel Elibariki Munisi, 39, has always been a rebel. Since his childhood in the ghettos of Manzese in Dar es Salaam, the rapper popularly known as ‘Nay Wa Mitego’ has always been unconventional.
At one point, he led a gang and fell out with his mother, whom he affectionately refers to as Bi Mkubwa — and she kicked him out of her home.
