Stellar Murumba is a Nairobi-based financial journalist with a bias on health investigative writing, currently reporting for the Business Daily. Prior to taking up this post in August 2015, she was a correspondent for the Daily Nation from Nyeri. She is a Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa Fellow 4th cohort and a runner up Integrity Champion Awards 2016 (recognised for her audacity to report fraud surrounding the Sh5 billion heist in the Ministry of Health). She was also a finalist in the inaugural Zimeo Excellence in Media Awards-2015 (Science Category) and a fellow of the University of Nairobi.
