Will there be an election worth that name? This is the main question that has been posed by Tanzania’s main opposition party, Chadema, and to which the government (and the ruling CCM party) answer that the election will, indeed, take place, and I personally believe that that will be the case.
Although the main opposition has been adamant in stating that without meaningful reforms in the way the election is held, such an election will be a sham, the election will come to pass, whether most people find it credible or not.
