The administration of President Donald Trump has introduced a new measure to remove illegal immigrants, including East Africans, by offering financial incentives to those who volunteer to leave.
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has unveiled a year-end scheme granting undocumented immigrants who register through the CBP Home app a $3,000 stipend and a free flight to their home country. The programme is available until December 31.
