Tanzanian Vice President Philip Isdor Mpango on Saturday invited the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to deploy an election observation mission for the country's upcoming general elections on October 29.
Speaking at the opening of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation Summit in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, Mpango said that preparations for a free, fair and transparent electoral process were progressing smoothly.
