On July 18, a ship carrying military weapons stalled in Somali waters around Bareeda, off the coast in Puntland, due to “technical problems”.

The Comoros-flagged vessel christened Sea World had left Izmir in Türkiye for Mogadishu. But it ran into problems in its final leg and was stranded in Somalia waters before the Puntland Maritime Police Force (PMPF) came to its aid.
