Nine Kenyans have sued South Sudan seeking $320,195 salary arrears that have allegedly accumulated over the last 53 months, adding to the country’s long-running struggle to pay its public servants both in and out of its borders.

The nine are low-cadre staff in South Sudan’s embassy in Nairobi, spread out in the foreign affairs, immigration and security departments.
