The European Union (EU) has been drawn into the long-running dispute between Ethiopia and Egypt over the use of the Nile River, following Addis Ababa’s objection to what it calls unfair criticism of its sovereign decisions on the waterway.
Tensions flared last week after Egypt and EU officials met on October 22 for their first joint summit.
