African labour unions, peers press Saudi Arabia over workers abuse

African labour unions have urged the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to rein in Saudi Arabia for continual violation of foreign workers’ rights in the country.
The unions made a joint submission to the ILO, calling for a commission of inquiry into labour rights in the kingdom, citing “racial mistreatment of foreign workers especially from Africa.”
