Some 27 Ugandans are stuck in detention facilities in China after they were arrested for illegal stay in the Asian country following the expiry of their visas.
Sources close to Uganda’s embassy in Beijing, China, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said those detained include students, who completed their studies and were set to come back but the lockdown restrictions they could not travel.
