The film features Tanzanian traditions and cultures from various tribes in the country, a key message on the role of culture for the country’s younger generation.
Mulasi, meaning ‘friend’, comes from Gogo tribe in Tanzania’s Capital city, Dodoma.
Mulasi the Death features actors from Ghana, Tanzania and United States. It is directed by Honeymoon Aljabri, a Tanzanian writer, actor and award winning film producer based in the US; and features Ghanian actor John Dumelo among the lead characters.
