DR JENNIFER RIRIA (KENYA)
An influential microfinancier, Dr Riria is best associated with reviving the flagging Kenya Women Finance Trust. She is also the chair of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Kenya. The organisation is now one of the country’s flagship microfinanciers and has helped uplift the lives of tens of thousands of Kenyan women through its national branch network. She was the first female board member of the Nairobi Stock Exchange and is also a renowned academic.
