Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) plans to build a multibillion-dollar fertiliser factory, banking on the large natural gas resource in the southern regions of Lindi and Mtwara.
Natural gas is required for the production of ammonia, which is used to manufacture fertiliser.
