Over two decades after the government of Tanzania privatised state-owned tourist hotels and lodges in leading sites and cities, the National Assembly has tasked the government with assessing their performance.
Parliament endorsed a resolution directing the government to submit an evaluation report on the performance of underperforming tourist hotels and lodges by April this year.
