East African economies may dodge the bullet of the tensions arising from global tariffs even though peers on the continent may not be so lucky.

A report by the African Development Bank (AfDB) says Africa’s economic growth is expected to increase from 3.3 per cent in 2024 to 3.9 per cent in 2025, going up to 4.0 per cent in 2026.
