Uganda has started recruiting women for trials of a long-lasting injectable antiretroviral drug for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis.
This is part of a large scale trial that will also be conducted in six other countries — Kenya, Malawi, Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Swaziland.
