Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni threw a massive dagger in the regional works when he said that the Indian Ocean belongs to him (Uganda).

The jab continued into a winded explanation of why the ocean was important to global security for East African states and why, in its current form, doesn’t meet the trade expectations and security calculations Uganda has of it.
