Former Congolese President Joseph Kabila has broken his silence on recent developments in the situation in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, warning of a catastrophe of “Sudanic” proportion.
The former head of state spoke bluntly about the governance of the nation, weeks after leaders of the AFC/M23 claimed that a bombing in Goma, which killed a Unicef staff member, had targeted the former president.
