The Zanzibar Electoral Commission (ZEC) on Saturday announced to unveil the general election calendar on August 18, following the dissolution of the House of Representatives, scheduled for August 13.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a three-day training session for district-level election supervisors, ZEC Director of Elections Thabit Idarous Faina said the timetable will include key dates such as the voting day and the nomination period for candidates.
