The Ethiopian government is portraying leaders of the Tigray People’s Liberation Movement as spoilers of peace in the country, just as Washington imposes visa restrictions on the group.

The TPLF initially signed a peace deal with the Ethiopian government in November 2022 to end a deadly two-year war.
