Tanzania’s report into post-election violence this week left unanswered questions on perpetrators of deadly violence that killed hundreds in the wake of general elections last year in October.
The Commission of Inquiry, formed to determine causes of the violence and how to prevent it in future, said 518 people were killed and over 2,200 injured in the chaos, a lower figure than what activists had earlier claimed.
