Rwandan foreign minister Mushikiwabo elected Francophonie head

Rwandan Foreign minister Louise Mushikiwabo is the new secretary general of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), the unifying body of French-speaking countries.
Ms Mushikiwabo was elected Friday in a suspense-free vote on the last day of the OIF summit in the Armenian capital Yerevan.
