,A Kenyan science teacher has been crowned the best in the world after winning the 2019 Global Teacher Prize.

Mr Peter Tabichi, a teacher at Keriko Mixed Day Secondary School in Pwani Village in Nakuru, a town 160km southeast of Nairobi, won the $1m prize on Sunday.
