Former lawmaker in court over validity of October 26 poll.
The re-election of Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again been challenged in court.
Former legislator Harun Mwau Monday moved to the Supreme Court questioning the validity of the October 26 poll, which President Kenyatta won with 98 per cent vote.
The petition comes on the last day as the Constitution sets seven days, within which any party can challenge the presidential outcome.
Main opposition
President Kenyatta was on Monday last week declared the winner of the poll that was ordered by the court on September 1.
The election was boycotted by the country's main opposition National Super Alliance’s Raila Odinga.
On Sunday, a lobby group, We-the-People, said it was working on a highly guarded secret petition on suspicion of possible attacks from State-sponsored goons.
